What Castra provides

Castra School is a private family tool for planning activities, supporting learning and recording evidence. It is not a registered school, accredited course, diagnostic service or guarantee of educational attainment. Adults choose appropriate activities and remain responsible for supervision and reviewing information relevant to their child.

The public demo

The demo is an interactive preview of selected features with fictional sample data. It is not the private family app, a full course or a live nature-identification service. Its weather, activities, progress and evidence are examples, not anyone's actual records. Refreshing resets the demo. No account or connection to a family host is provided.

Access and family boundaries

Use only the family instance and records you have been invited to access. Keep sign-in details private. Do not bypass access controls or upload material that you do not have permission to use. Adding a profile within one family instance is not the same as creating an isolated account for another family.

Optional Google Drive storage

Only an adult authorised to use the storage account should connect it. Uploads use that Google account's storage quota and remain subject to Google's own terms. The host must be on and reachable for connected app features to work. Connection interruptions, account limits and revoked permissions can delay transfers.

Check for a verified Drive copy before relying on an upload. Keep suitable independent backups and check that recovery works. Castra does not automatically remove original files, share folders or upload all historical records. Whole-record backups are manual in this version.

Activities and information

Use suitable adult supervision for practical activities and equipment. Nature-scanner suggestions can be wrong; do not use them to decide whether something is safe to eat, touch or use medicinally. Check weather, location and other information against conditions around you. Do not treat educational content as medical, legal or professional advice.

Changes and support

Features may change as the private app is developed. Report problems before relying on a feature that is not working as expected. No uninterrupted availability or particular learning outcome is promised. Nothing in these terms removes rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
